International relations
British Hellenic College’s International Relations Department has developed a very remarkable activity in developing educational material, with emphasis on new technologies and communications in education, thus contributing to the improvement of educational systems.
The college takes part, along with other educational institutions and with cooperation, with foreign universities, in programmes of the European Union, which are funded by the European Union and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). For example we mention the programmes COST, FORCE, LEONARDO, SOCRATES, TEMPUS, PETRA and Lifelong Learning Programme. For more information on International on the College’s participation in international programmes click, here.
For all the above programmes the International Relations Office has developed international cooperation with foreign universities and other educational institutions throughout the world. The network of these cooperations are mainly with educational institutions in Italy, Spain, Bulgaria, Austria, Romania, Latvia, Belgium and Poland.
Most programmes refer to teaching of Greek Language to foreigners (through Hellenic Language School Alexander the Great) and the development of Biological Farming and Agrotourism (through - among others – our fellow company EUROPEAN EDUCATIONAL AND DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION).
