Welcome to British Hellenic College

ΕλληνοβρετανικόThe BRITISH HELLENIC COLLEGE was founded in 1989.  It aims at offering the opportunity of higher education to Greek students who are interested in studying according to British standards, but at the same time wish to stay in Greece.

During 2013-14, British Hellenic was offering 7 undergraduate and 2 postgraduate British University courses.  Due to current unfavorable conditions, we will suspend college operations for the academic year 2015-16. The information provided on this site refers to our courses as they were offered during 2013-14 and as they will hopefully be offered again during 2019-20..

In addition, since 1995 the BRITISH HELLENIC COLLEGE incorporated as an individual sector the Hellenic Language School “Alexander the Great”, which was established in 1972.

Besides, BRITISH HELLENIC COLLEGE was granted by the Greek Ministry of Education a foundation license  in June 2009, a license to operate as a Post Secondary Educational Center in June 2010 as well as a license to operate as a College in September 2013 (Ministerial Decision 119645/IA/2013).

Finally, BRITISH HELLENIC COLLEGE has developed a very remarkable activity in the sector of International Educational Relations in the sectors of Greek Language (through the Hellenic Language School “Alexander the Great”) as well as Biological Agriculture and Agrotourism through our affiliated company European Educational Association.
