BSc (Hons) in Architectural Design Technology
BRITISH HELLENIC COLLEGE offered 7 undergraduate and 2 postgraduate British University courses. Due to current unfavorable conditions, we will suspend college operations for the academic year 2015-16. The information provided on this site refers to our courses as they were offered during 2013-14 and as they will hopefully be offered again during 2018-19.
The four year programme has been franchised from the British University and it is totally original for Greece.
The aim of the programme is to create professionals for the construction of public and private buildings.

The course is structured around desing modules that increase in complexity from domestic to urban scales. Work is undertaken both individually and in groups.
Students are encouraged to think independently, critically and logically. They are also taught to present effectively appropriate design solutions. The course aims to inspire professionalism and design originality.
Graduates find employment in the construction and development industry, one of the largest sectors of the economy. More specifically, they can work in architectural practices, building contracting organizations, developmental organizations and local authorities’ property sections and the facilities management departments of existing estates.

It is also noted that students successfully completing the second year of studies receive the Certificate of Higher Education of the British University and they may seek direct entry into a course of Architecture in a British or other University. In the UK the course is fully accredited by the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Association of Building Engineers (ABE). So, graduates can pursue Chartered Status in the UK. BRITISH HELLENIC COLLEGE will seek similar accreditation by the above Institutes. Besides, BHC graduates may seek registration with the same Institutes on an individual basis. The College will help them in preparing the relative applications.
